The Chagos Islands: A bitter colonial legacy

This week’s episode of the Alex Salmond Show begins an examination of the 50 year old colonial scandal of how the Chagossian people were cleared from their island homes in the Indian Ocean to make way for a US Air Force base. The International Court of Justice has now condemned the UK for its treatment of the Chagossian people, but will that assist in their return?
