US Senate united in voting for biggest-ever defense bill
The US Senate has approved the Obama's administration's record $636 billion defense measures.
It includes almost $130 billion to fund current operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and was cleared by an overwhelming 88 senators in favor, with 10 voting against.
A reporter for the Stars and Stripes military newspaper, Kevin Baron, told RT that in this bill “Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has focused on the war the US troops are fighting now.”
