“Obama’s speech was all about merits and necessities of war”
There was nothing peaceful about Obama’s speech in Norway except for scattered rhetoric, says American author David Swanson.
“The president had begun to quote former Peace Prize recipient Martin Luther King, Jr., suggesting that violence never solves our problems and only makes them more complicated,” Swanson said. “And yet the rest of his speech went in the exact opposite direction.”
