Biden forgets open mike as Obama inks healthcare bill

US President Barack Obama has signed the controversial healthcare reform bill in a ceremony at the White House. Ahead of the President’s speech, Vice President Joe Biden "dropped the F-bomb."

The bill was narrowly passed in the House of Representatives on Sunday, with no Republican supporting it. Under the new plans nearly 32 million more Americans will have access to government-funded healthcare. Also, the new legislation means America will no longer be the only advanced economy to lack basic healthcare coverage for all citizens.

The signing was a big deal for the Democrats, as while congratulating Barack Obama ahead of his speech before the White House, Vice President Joe Biden seemed to forget he was on live TV and apparently dropped the F-bomb, whispering into the President’s ear “it’s a big f***n deal.”
