Twin blasts shake southern Russia
Two powerful explosions occurred on Tuesday in the Republic of Dagestan in southern Russia, according to a source at the local Interior Ministry.
Initial reports suggest the first bomb went off under the car and was followed by the second blast in a nearby rubbish bin.
At least two people have been injured, according to the local law enforcement agency. One of them is allegedly the son of a former colonel in the Federal Security service who was, himself, killed in 2004.
